About Event

Creators today have massive reach, trust, and cultural influence — but most are still approaching social impact in a reactive, unstructured way. This session is an opportunity to introduce actionable ways for creators and their teams to think about and participate in social impact across content, partnerships, community, and business strategy.

Led by I.G. Advisors, this is a practical, no-BS breakdown of how to move from ad-hoc giving to something more intentional, credible, and effective, using both platform and resources to actually drive outcomes.

Run of Show:

-2:30pm: Doors

-3:00pm: Session begins in Theater

-4:15pm: Mingling on Patio

-4:30pm: Event Ends

Rachel Stephenson Sheff is a strategist and senior executive of I.G. Advisors, a global consultancy working across the philanthropy, business and nonprofit worlds. With an extensive background in advising world-class institutions—including the Gates Foundation, UN Women, and the World Food Programme—Rachel has become a leading voice on the evolution of modern giving. Her work is increasingly focused on the creator economy, where she helps high-profile digital creators and their management teams move beyond reactive, "performative" gestures to build rigorous, long-term impact strategies.

An expert at translating complex social issues for broad audiences, Rachel leads the Scaling Strategy & Leadership stream at the LSE 100x Impact Accelerator and hosts the popular podcast What Donors Want. Her insights on the future of social change have been featured by The Guardian, Fortune, and the BBC. She serves as Board Vice Chair for Fora: Network for Change and in a past life was a triple-threat performer with a BFA in Drama from NYU Tisch.
