8th Edition: ASSEK Annual Conference and Innovation Awards

In East Africa, and specifically for Kenya's entrepreneurship ecosystem, we stand at a critical inflection point. AI is no longer emerging — it's here, reshaping how businesses operate, how governments deliver services, and how societies function. The 8th edition of the ASSEK Annual Conference and Innovation Awards Gala 2026 provides a platform for these engagements, under the theme:

"Technology4Society: Data, AI, and Governance for Inclusive Entrepreneurship Development."

This shift touches every sector: precision farming and credit access in agriculture, diagnostics and telemedicine in healthcare, automation in manufacturing, generative tools in creative industries, autonomous systems in logistics, and personalized learning in education. Each brings real opportunity — and real risks around fairness, safety, and equity.

Building on the success of the 7th ASSEK Annual Conference (2025), which addressed sustainable entrepreneurship, innovation promotion, and socio-economic development, the 8th edition tackles the most consequential technology shift of our generation: data and AI governance. Not as a tech-sector issue, but as a cross-cutting imperative for the entire entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Join us as we shape Kenya and East Africa's intelligent future — with intention, equity, and oversight — for inclusive entrepreneurship development.

Happening on the 26th November 2026 from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm.
