π Day Trip to Gloucester/Rockport
βOn Saturday, August 15, Fractal Boston visits Rockport and Gloucester to bring our "Hot Nerd Summer" of museums, ocean views, and ice cream to a close (unless you plan something, I won't discourage you!).
Here's the current plan:
β10:30 AM - Hammond Castle Museum: A self-guided tour of the "Fractal-coded" Great Hall, courtyard, and grounds
β12:00 PM - Lunch at 1606 Restaurant & Oyster Bar: I'm hoping to get a reservation on the waterfront deck. Option for a quick beach walk, too!
β2:00 PM - The Paper House: We'll make a quick stop at to admire this summer home that was built with newspaper as a hobby project. (Not a castle, but also "Fractal-coded" in its own way.)
β2:30 PM - Nature Walk at Halibut State Park OR Kayak at Sandy Bay: We'll decide on this as it gets closer. Or maybe have both options if there's enough interest!
β4:00 PM - Bearskin Neck: Peruse the shops and galleries, and grab a quick dinner or some ice cream before heading home.
βI'll set up a carpool link as it gets closer!
