​APAC Offshore Wind Regional Cooperation Roundtable Discussion

​As offshore wind gains momentum across Asia Pacific, stronger regional cooperation will be critical to translating market ambition into investment and deployment. This roundtable will bring together government and industry leaders to explore how ASEAN regional frameworks can support the scale-up of offshore wind across APAC through greater policy coordination, knowledge exchange and cross-border collaboration.

​Building on insights from GWEC’s APAC work, the discussion will examine how coordinated regional energy, trade and industrial policies can help unlock investment, reduce costs, strengthen resilient supply chains, and maximise the economic and industrial benefits of offshore wind and the wider clean and just energy transition.

​In this context, GWEC is convening this engagement to:

• ​Foster regional exchange of experience and best practices in offshore wind development

• ​Explore opportunities for regional collaboration, including supply chains, infrastructure planning, and knowledge sharing

• ​Gather industry feedback on the idea of regional supply chain collaboration in offshore wind by leveraging existing platforms/frameworks available in the region.

• ​Strengthening alignment across countries at different stages of market maturity.
