Walk & Taste: Coffee, Chocolate, and How the Prized Became Ordinary
Join us for a guided neighborhood walk featuring craft chocolate tastings, specialty coffee, and meaningful conversation.
Coffee and chocolate are everywhere. They're deeply woven into our collective culture and personal histories. Although we take them for granted, it was only through a particular combination of circumstances, choices, and chance that they became the staples they are today. We’ll trace the history of coffee and cacao through the unexpected twists and turns of their development, from global trade and old traditions to childhood treats, specialty products, and strange new combinations.
We'll wander through the neighborhood, stopping at premium craft coffee and chocolate shops and tasting along the way.
Join us for genuine connection, new tastes, and fresh perspectives on familiar and unfamiliar things.
