What if slowing down and looking inward was part of how we build a better future?
In a capitalist culture that constantly asks us to move faster, produce more, consume more, and keep going, choosing to pause can be a radical act. And when we’re working toward a better world, caring for ourselves and one another isn’t separate from the work; it’s what makes that work sustainable.
Join us for an intimate gathering to explore mindfulness, presence, and rest as essential parts of collective action. BFC member Sarai will guide us through breathwork and meditation, followed by an open conversation about what it means to care for ourselves while caring deeply about the world around us.
Together, we’ll make space to slow down, reconnect, and reflect on how we can build movements that don’t replicate the urgency, exhaustion, and burnout of the systems we’re trying to change!
Showing up and being present for ourselves is how we can better show up for our communities 💪
What to Expect:
🌷 Arrive + settle in with the group
🧘🏽♀️ Guided breathwork + short meditation led by Sarai
💭 Group discussion + reflection on mindfulness, self-care, and sustainable movement building
🌱 Hang in the garden and connect with the club
What to Bring:
Feel free to bring a blanket or yoga mat to sit on! Journals are also encouraged for the group discussion. Bring a friend; all are welcome!
