Brico Book Circle: Reimagining Nonprofits and Philanthropy by Vu Le
Brico Book Circle
Brico Book Circle is a chance to slow down, connect, and dig into the ideas shaping how we lead, care, and build community. Each session brings together a small group of changemakers to explore one book through conversation, curiosity, and a bit of collective wisdom. No homework vibes and no pressure to finish every page. Just real people, real talk, and space to reflect on the kind of leaders and community builders we’re becoming.
We’ll gather every other month in 2026 to read work from voices who challenge, encourage, and stretch us: from courage and boundaries to emergence, reciprocity, and delight. Come for the ideas. Stay for the connection. Leave a little more grounded than you arrived.

April Featured Book: Reimagining Nonprofits & Philanthropy by Vu Le
If you don't have the book yet, purchase here to support local bookstores and Brico.
Vu Le brings his trademark candor, humor, and righteous impatience to the systems we work inside every day. This book pokes at the assumptions we’ve absorbed, the hoops we’ve normalized, and the power dynamics we tiptoe around. It’s part truth-telling, part liberation manual, part “can we please stop doing things the hard way.”
In our session, we’ll explore how the ideas land in our own work and the things we’re ready to let go of, the models we want to build, and the tiny revolutions we can start from wherever we sit.
