Beyond the Title: Building Your Career Mobility Story
Description
The workforce is changing shape faster than most of us were trained to navigate it. Titles are less stable, advancement paths are less linear, and AI is reshaping what "the next role" even looks like. In that landscape, presenting yourself by your last title is a losing strategy, what actually moves you forward is knowing how to tell your impact story clearly, to the right people, at the right moment.
This workshop is for two kinds of professionals: those actively job searching, and those who aren't looking yet but want to be ready to make a move, inside their current company or out of it, when the moment comes.
You'll work through Beyond the Title, a framework for repositioning yourself around impact instead of title, along with tools from Never Search Alone for building the kind of visible, active network that surfaces opportunities before they're posted.
What you'll walk away with:
A clearer way to talk about your experience that doesn't rely on your last job title
A framework for recognizing when and how to put yourself forward for the next opportunity, the "when to think of me" moment
Practical tools for building a network that works for you before you need it, not after
This is a small pilot group, so expect real discussion and direct feedback, not a lecture.

About Bayan & Bay
Bayan & Bay spots and tackles the people problems of small and scaling organizations, before they become serious business problems. A fractional HR and people strategy consultancy built for organizations that need senior-level HR leadership without the overhead of a full-time hire. The firm serves nonprofits, start-ups and mission-driven employers , helping them build the human infrastructure, the systems, clarity, and culture, that turn growth into something sustainable rather than something that outpaces the team holding it together.
The name draws on the Tagalog concepts of bayan (community) and bayanihan (the spirit of people coming together to support a shared effort), reflecting the firm's belief that strong organizations are built the same way strong communities are: through people who show up for each other, not just for a title or a task.
