Barcelona is a vibrant city, but deep connection shouldn’t be so hard to find. Most social gatherings rely on the same low-effort "scripts": where you’re from, what you do, and how long you’re staying.
But we believe small talk leads to a small life. Stay A While is a new community movement for the curious, the long-term residents, and those with a genuine passion for life who are ready to skip the superficial.
In a world obsessed with 'more' and 'faster,' we aren't here to accelerate; we’re here to slow down, enjoying the simple joys of a morning cup of coffee and newfound connections.
For our official Community Launch, we are gathering at L'Estació Espai Gastronòmic to introduce a different way of connecting in the city.
This is for you if:
You’re here to stay: You are building a life in Barcelona and want to move past the "transient" expat social scene.
You’re "Small Talk" exhausted: You’d rather discuss a big idea or a personal truth than your job title or your weekend plans.
You value being, not just doing: You want more slowness and presence in your life, leaving the fast-paced world (and your phone) behind to actually connect with the person across from you.
What to expect:
No networking. No performance. No small talk. We provide the curated prompts; you provide the perspective. We’ll spend two hours diving into meaningful conversation, allowing you to actually meet the people behind the introductions.
