Kisumu Idealists; Chapatis & Community Care (Saturday 4/4)
A Saturday of Small Acts.
Idealist Day (4/4) falls on a Saturday, making it a perfect moment to slow down, show up, and care for our community.
On this Idealist Day, we’ll be providing chapatis to 5–10 children from families in our local area—a small but meaningful gesture of care for households where consistent meals can be a challenge, even on weekends.
In our communities, 20 KES can still mean a full stomach and a smile. Ten chapatis cost about 200 KES, making this an easy way for many people to participate.
How You Can Participate
Contribute 20–200 KES toward chapatis
Help with buying or distributing the chapatis
Come along to connect, reflect, and pray together
This gathering is about practical love in action—meeting real needs in simple ways. My personal motivation comes from the love of Jesus: serving others with dignity, compassion, and generosity. Everyone is welcome to participate in whatever way feels comfortable and meaningful to them.
No special skills needed.
No big commitments required.
Just a Saturday set aside for kindness.
Let’s come together as Idealists in Kisumu and make 4/4 count—through presence, generosity, and shared humanity.
