Mount Braden Loop
Join us for a challenging Vancouver Island summit loop in the Sooke Hills Wilderness Park.
This 10.3 km loop is a tough but rewarding climb featuring a gentle start, followed by steep elevation gain, forested trails, and sea views from the summit.
The first 3km are flat and gravel before a 2km incline along the ridge to the top. We will then loop back around the northern side of the ridge and reconnect with the original path.
As we reach the summit, we’re rewarded with sweeping views over Sooke, the surrounding mountains, and the coastline.
Disclaimer
• This is a hard hike due to elevation gain and uphill sections. Best suited for experienced hikers comfortable with 4–5 hour days.
