​The La La Land Gala is more than an event, it is a movement. Our 3rd Annual Gala brings together leaders, advocates, creatives, and community members committed to one shared mission:

​To reimagine mental health support for African, Caribbean, and underserved communities across Canada. This year’s gala is a call to action. A space where storytelling meets strategy. Where lived experience meets policy. Where healing is not whispered, but centred.

​Why This Gala Matters

​Mental health inequities are not accidental…they are systemic. For many in our communities, access to culturally safe, affirming care remains limited. Too many are navigating trauma, stigma, and silence without the support they deserve.

​RAF Alliance exists to change that.

​The La La Land Gala is our flagship fundraising event supporting programs that:

• ​Expand access to culturally responsive mental health resources

• ​Create safe spaces for healing and dialogue

• ​Advocate for systemic change and equity in care

• ​Uplift community-led solutions rooted in lived experience
