Into the forest: Let's explore Oslo's "marka" together

​Experience one of Oslo's greatest treasures: marka (the forested area around the city).

​Join us for a relaxed group hike through the beautiful southern part of Nordmarka. Whether you've just moved to Norway or have lived here for years, this is a great opportunity to discover the forest, enjoy good company, and spend time outdoors.

​Along the way, we'll introduce participants to the basics of exploring Norwegian nature, including trail markings, public transport access, outdoor etiquette, and practical tips for enjoying the forest safely and confidently in every season.

​We'll take the hike at a comfortable pace, with time to chat, enjoy the scenery, and get to know each other. Depending on the final route, we'll also stop at a café or gather for a social break at the end.

​No hiking experience is required—just bring comfortable walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, water, and clothes suitable for the day's forecast.
