This October, Cur8 Capital is taking just 30 people to southern Spain for three nights combining padel, halal investing, faith, five-star hospitality and great company.
Hosted at the five-star Higuerón Hotel Málaga, this isn't designed to feel like a conference or a heavily programmed retreat.
You'll play padel, take part in private investment workshops, have opportunities for one-to-one conversations with members of the Cur8 investment team, enjoy the hotel's spa and sports facilities and spend three days around a deliberately small group of Muslims from across business, finance, law and Islamic scholarship.
What you'll experience
🎾 Padel
Three days of organised padel including a welcome mixer, basic coaching, structured level-based games, social play and friendly competition.
12 of our 30 spaces are available to sisters, with separate sisters' padel arrangements from the brothers.
If you already play regularly, we'd strongly recommend bringing your own racket and equipment.
📈 Private investment workshops
We'll be running two dedicated sessions for attendees:
The Muslim Investor's Wealth Map
A practical look at financial objectives, liquidity, risk, time horizons, business interests and how to think about building a considered Sharia-conscious investment approach.
Private Markets & Halal Due Diligence
How to assess investment opportunities, understand risk and illiquidity, ask better due-diligence questions and think about where individual investments sit within a broader portfolio.
These are deliberately small, private sessions created specifically for the retreat group and will not simply be recorded for wider distribution afterwards.
🤝 One-to-one investment conversations
There will also be opportunities to sit down individually with Ibrahim Khan and members of the Cur8 Capital investment team.
These educational conversations are intended to help attendees think through their wider financial position, objectives and the broader halal investment landscape, rather than simply discussing Cur8 products.
That may include discussing areas or providers beyond Cur8 where relevant.
Cur8 Capital currently manages approximately $250 million, and limiting the trip to just 30 attendees allows for a level of access that is difficult to recreate at a normal event.
🕌 Faith
Faith will be woven naturally throughout the retreat.
We'll have an imam, huffadh and people of knowledge amongst the group, with opportunities throughout the three days for:

Morning reminders
Halaqas
Qur'an and reflection
Optional nafl and additional worship
Weather and permissions permitting, we're also planning a beach-based reminder and optional worship on our first evening.
All additional spiritual activities are completely voluntary.
🧖 Five-star downtime
This is still a retreat.
You'll have plenty of time to enjoy the resort, including:
Spa access
Gym and sports facilities
Swimming
Daily buffet breakfast
Additional padel
Time to relax or explore Málaga
We've deliberately kept free periods within the programme so that every hour doesn't feel scheduled.
You can head to the spa, play another game, train, explore the surrounding area or simply switch off for a few hours.
⛵ Optional coastal excursion
We're also planning an optional coastal excursion for Wednesday afternoon.
The final programme is still being confirmed, with a private boat or catamaran experience around Benalmádena currently the most likely option, followed by time around the marina and dinner.
The excursion will be completely optional and charged separately.

There is also a halal restaurant within the hotel.
Málaga Airport is approximately 15 minutes from the resort.

Padel, Private Markets & Halal Due Diligence, optional coastal excursion and closing evening programme.
Thursday 8 October
Breakfast, final one-to-one conversations, free time and checkout by 12:00pm.
