About Event
Will you and your fellow bus riders join a meeting ON THE BUS to talk about the dignity you deserve when riding the bus and make plans to speak at the next Metro board meeting?
You and your neighbors will meet downtown at Government Square Area B at 1pm and take the 20 to the Northside Transit Center during this meeting. Then you will ride back to Government Square on the 17 or 19, or hop off at an earlier point!
During the meeting, you will:
Talk about the challenges you face riding Metro and TANK.
Sign up to demand that Metro board members:
Commit to adding benches at all bus stops by 2030.
Learn to ride the bus during the Better Bench Initiative's Town Hall on 3/10.
