ROPEA – the Romanian Private Equity Association – is the representative organization of Romania’s private equity and venture capital industry. The Association promotes the sector as a driver of economic development, supports the creation of a favorable legal framework for attracting capital and serves as a platform for dialogue between investors, entrepreneurs and public authorities. ROPEA currently has 81 members, including 29 private equity and venture capital funds active in the Romanian market, which manage assets worth more than EUR 2.4 billion.
