Football Fest 2026

​Football Fest 2026 is our celebration of all things football gaming. From tabletop classics like Subbuteo to console worldies like Pro Evo, FIFA and Sensible Soccer we'll be bringing a double World Cup celebration to the Retro Room and Gallaher's Bar at Cityside on the weekend of the 2026 World Cup final.

​Saturday 18th of July will see our first Subbuteo tournament in the event space right outside The Retro Room. This free to enter tournament will be for all levels of skill so don't be worried if you don't know how to play, we'll have people there to teach you and a demo session from 1pm also where you can pick up the rules.

Then on Sunday the 19th we're taking over the top floor of Gallahers sports bar for a re-enactment of the classic Mexico 86 World Cup on our retro consoles. Think Pro Evo, FIFA, Sensible Soccer and other classics in a round robin tournament where the winner wins our first Football Fest World Cup! Tickets for this are only £10 and we'll be kicking off from 2pm with the final played on the big screen ahead of the real world World Cup final in Gallahers.
