Step into the role of an SV2 diligence team. Using a real data room from a recent SV2 deal, you'll learn how to move from a pitch deck to an investment decision.
What we'll cover:
How SV2 evaluates deals: our impact screening, investment criteria, and right-sized, founder-friendly approach
Navigating a data room: what's in each folder and how to find what matters fast
Reading the financials: growth, gross margins, working capital and the cap table, in a live walkthrough of the company's model
Hands-on breakouts: small teams dig into product, market, impact and team, or financials, then share their key strengths, make-or-break questions and disagreements
Exit analysis and trade-offs: breakeven, base and management cases, and how SV2 weighs risk, returns, timeline and impact
At the end, we'll compare your conclusions with what SV2's original diligence team decided.
Who should attend:
We encourage you to bring a friend who is curious about impact investing. We also warmly welcome SV2 Donor Partners who haven’t yet engaged with our impact investing work to join us. Newer Partners will be paired with experienced investors in breakouts.
