​Nope! Any romance reader age 18 or older is welcome. You do not need to be a member, know anyone, or have attended before. We love meeting new bookish friends and provide name tags to make connecting a little easier.

​Yes. KAR is an adult romance reader community, and our conversations may include explicit sexual content and mature themes. We keep discussions open and uncensored so everyone can speak freely and enjoy our time together. We strongly encourage arranging childcare so you can be fully present. If unavoidable, children must remain independently occupied and outside hearing distance of the discussion.
