About Event

🧠 Welcome to Focus Warriors Super Fun ADHD Support Friends Group 🎉

We laugh, we cry, we name weird stuff no one else talks about.
Sometimes it’s deep. Sometimes it’s dumb. Sometimes it’s exactly what we needed.

If you’re new here — this isn’t your typical support group.
No awkward circles. No “let’s go around and share one thing we’re grateful for.”
Just real people, figuring stuff out together — and actually enjoying the process.


So how does this work?

Each week, we explore one ADHD experience using something we call a Focus Frame.

A Focus Frame is:
🧩 a pattern we’ve noticed
🔍 a feeling we want to understand
🛠 a structure to hold the chaos — just long enough to name it

They’re not rules.
They’re not perfect.
They’re just frames. And sometimes we don’t even have all the right pieces yet.

That’s the point.
We’re building this as we go — and your experience might be the missing piece someone else needs.


Every week, we explore stuff like:

“Why do I freeze before starting simple tasks?”
“Why do I feel guilty even when I rest?”
“Is anyone else pretending to be fine all the time?”

There’s no pressure to share.
You can just come hang and enjoy hangin

Focus Frame #6 — September 10, 2025

🔍 What This Is About

Our ADHD brains hold a lot. Loops, ideas, feelings, half-thoughts. Journaling is one of the simplest ways to get them out of our heads and onto paper — but most of us never really try it, or we only do it when we’re desperate.

This week we’re going to test journaling together — not as “dear diary,” not as homework, but as a group experiment.
Short bursts. Weird prompts. A chance to see what spills out when you let yourself write without editing.

Next week we’ll take what we discover on paper and turn it into collages.


🧩 Inside the Frame: 5 Relationship Roles

  1. We’ll move through a few short rounds of journaling with different prompts + timers:

    • 30 seconds → “word vomit” (just dump whatever’s in your head)

    • 1 minute“favourites?”

    • 2 minutes“what’s in my head right now?”

    • 5 minutes“what do i want more of / less of in my life?”

    • Between rounds


💥 Why This Matters

Journaling is one of the fastest ways ADHDers can reach a state of flow. It:

  • clears the mental clutter

  • shows patterns we’d never notice in the moment

  • makes space for feelings without having to explain them out loud

  • sparks creative energy we can use in other ways (like collages next week)


⚠️ A Gentle Reminder

You don’t have to share what you write. You can doodle, scribble, or sit quietly if that feels better. The point isn’t a perfect page — it’s giving your brain somewhere to land.
