An Ember Fhackathon

​Playing around is still the most effective way to unlock fresh insights, discover your talents... and win a ticket to Wave in Turin (Italy's premier startup & tech festival).

​On September 19 and 20, Ember (https://joinember.it/) will host Europe's first high-altitude hackathon: 20 selected builders will compete at 1,500 meters in a mountain cabin surrounded by the nature of Valtellina, building the most absurd, fun, and seemingly useless things they can imagine.

​Wave, Vento, Liquid Factory and Jade Hosting know this all too well: the best inventions start by accident, which is why they decided to back and support our idea.

​Here is what you need to know:

• ​What's there: A 3-floor mountain cabin in the wild, rooms with private bathrooms (2-3 beds each), a fully equipped kitchen, Starlink Wi-Fi, and a mountain right outside your window.

• ​What it costs: Accommodation is free. Food and travel are on you (we've organized a group dinner at a local restaurant for €25/person).

• ​Getting there: Arrive Saturday around 3:00 PM, wrap up Sunday by 4:00 PM. Accessible by car or train from Milano Centrale. If you take the train, we'll pick you up in Sondrio; if you drive, we'll help match you with fellow builders needing a ride.
