About Event

Join us for a unique walking tour that explores the history of one of Egypt's iconic female artists, Umm Kulthum. We'll explore and uncover the story of how she rose from a rural Delta village and rose to become a powerful voice of nationalism that transcended class boundaries.

The 1.7km walking tour will explore iconic statues, buildings, and record stores that bring her story to life, and ends with a live performance of the Umm Kulthum Puppet Show at El Sawy Culture Wheel to celebrate her legacy.

Tour Details:

Early Bird Tickets till Sep. 22nd: 370 EGP
Regular Price: 400 EGP

Both tiers include a ticket to the Umm Kulthum Puppet Show at the end of the day.

We will meet at the Umm Kulthum Statue at around 2:30 and start our tour at 3 PM. Don't be late!

The tour will take about 3 hours, from 3 PM to 6 PM, with the puppet show starting at 6:30 PM.
