Workday's approach to AI - embedded AI and delivered Agents
DevCon Overview – Workday DevCon 2026 drew thousands of developers to Las Vegas for a major shift toward agentic AI, including the launch of Developer Agent, which lets developers build on Workday using plain language through their agentic tool of choice. Workday also announced its developer platform is now "agent ready," along with new Agent-Ready Tools (MCP) that let AI agents work safely and securely with Workday data. We'll recap what these announcements mean for your organization.
Extend Updates – what's new in the Extend platform and how to put it to work
Data Cloud – what it unlocks for your reporting and analytics
AI Readiness – how to prep your org to take advantage of Workday's AI roadmap
4:30 PM – End of Day | Happy Hour (open to all registrants) Grab a drink and unwind with fellow attendees in the Embark / Commit Consulting common space (16th or 17th floor). Light apps, refreshments, and drinks provided.
4:30 PM – 7:00 PM | Developer Meetup (sign-up required) A dedicated session for developers to connect and dig deeper into the technical side of the Workday ecosystem.
