Speaker's Bio:
Dillon Abend is the founder of 3rd-i, a safety technology company making “Safety Made Social” through the 3rd-i app. A graduate of the University of Miami Herbert Business School (Finance), he raised more than $1.4M while in school, winning $125K+ in startup competitions, including a $100K UMiami Investment Award and closed a $1M pre-seed priced round during his senior year.
Dillon’s work centers on modernizing outdated safety infrastructure and delivering safety products students genuinely want to use, informed by his experience raising funds for philanthropy and collaborating with nonprofits.
