Chai & Thrive: Feeling Through Faith with Natasha Deen
Join us for a compassionate and uplifting discussion on mental health through an Islamic lens. This session will normalize our emotional experiences, explore how therapy can be a valuable tool for healing, and offer practical ways to feel, process, and work through emotions in a healthy manner. We will also reflect on Islamic teachings that affirm Allah’s deep understanding of our struggles and provide guidance on how to address them with faith and resilience.
Together, we will shed light on how mental health is acknowledged within Islam, emphasizing that experiencing emotional hardship does not mean one’s iman is weak. Instead, it is part of the human experience, and seeking support is both valid and encouraged. Attendees will leave feeling reassured, empowered, and reminded that they are not alone — Allah is Most Understanding and Most Merciful.
