About Event

Women make up nearly 70% of the PR and communications workforce. Yet ownership and equity at the agency level still skew disproportionately male, particularly among large firms.

In an industry powered by women's labor and influence, the question isn't just who does the work. It's who owns it.

This Women's History Month, The PR Girl Manifesto is bringing together founders, practitioners, and peers for an intimate panel and networking evening centered on female-founded PR and communications agencies. We'll explore what ownership really looks like in modern PR: from building and leading agencies to setting boundaries, redefining success, and shaping the future of the industry.

What to Expect

An intimate, curated evening designed for connection, conversation, and visibility.

The night will feature a moderated panel conversation with female founders and agency leaders, thoughtful audience dialogue, and dedicated networking time with peers across the PR and communications industry.

Throughout the evening, guests can enjoy:

• A glam refresh touch-up station by Live Tinted, offering on-site touch-ups and a shade-inclusive product experience
• A portrait studio for elevated, professional headshots
• Light bites from HoneyBrains and refreshments provided by Wander + Ivy and Lyre's.

VIP attendees will also receive curated gift bags featuring products from Briogeo, Nioxin, Shea Yeleen, Live Tinted, Go Getter Girl, and additional partner brands.

Meet the Panelists

Kanessa Tixe Talent Manager & PR Strategist, TS Collective

Kanessa Tixe has spent over two decades at the intersection of PR, global marketing, and talent management — and she started long before most people enter the industry. Beginning her PR and branding work as a teenager, she built a reputation early for tenacity, crossover instinct, and the ability to elevate clients into rooms most can't access.

Her career spans City Hall under mayors Giuliani and Bloomberg, established firms including Rubenstein PR and Quinn PR, and now TS Collective, a New York-based talent management and PR firm where she represents high-profile clients across entertainment and fashion. Her placements span Entertainment Tonight, Variety, and The Tonight Show, with brand collaborations ranging from Mugler and Saint Laurent to Dolce & Gabbana and Macy's. Her client roster includes Maluma, Anok Yai, Canelo Álvarez, and Residente.
