An AOF event on the new Global Biodiversity Standard with Dr David Bartholomew

​During this event, David will introduce the new Global Biodiversity Standard and will outline the methodology that is used to assess the impact of restoration projects on biodiversity.

​About David:

​Dr David Bartholomew is the Global Biodiversity Standard Project Manager at Botanic Gardens Conservation International (BGCI). He had a BA in Biological Sciences from University of Oxford, a MSc in Conservation and Biodiversity and PhD in Physical Geography from the University of Exeter. His expertise is in tropical forests, tree physiology and ecosystem restoration. David currently coordinates the development of a new certification and mentoring scheme to recognise and support biodiverse restoration initiatives.
