About Event

Join author, TED speaker, entrepreneur, and recovering venture capital person Mary Lemmer for a conversation about her new book, How to Handle Anything: Four Improv Principles for Navigating Life’s Curveballs.

What Can Improv Principles Teach You About Entrepreneurship?

Entrepreneurship rarely goes according to plan. Learn practical improv principles to navigate uncertainty, adapt when things go sideways, and find your next move when there’s no clear script.

You’ll leave with practical tools to:

  • Make decisions when you don’t have all the answers

  • Adapt when plans change

  • Build confidence

This won’t just be a sit-and-listen book talk. We’ll bring some of the ideas to life together through interactive exercises and conversation, with stories from her own entrepreneurial journey and career, audience Q&A, and time to connect and sign books.

Mary is a graduate of the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan (BBA 2010).
