From Dialogue to Results: Corporate Insights on Investor Engagement | PRI in Person 2026, Collaboration Day Side Event
How do companies actually respond to investor engagement on sustainability risks, and what separates productive engagement from noise?
This interactive session brings together former corporate sustainability leaders to offer a rare, frank, inside-the-room perspective on investor engagement. Drawing on their experience driving sustainability efforts at major companies, speakers will unpack how different approaches — from collaborative dialogues to shareholder proposals — are received internally, what drives meaningful change, and when approaches miss the mark.
The session will open with a fireside chat featuring:
Natalia Agüeros-Macario, Senior Director of ESG and Sustainability at Umicore
Rob Cameron, former Global Head of Public Affairs at Nestlé
Rob Coviello, former Government Affairs and Sustainability Officer at Bunge
Nira Johri, former Chief Sustainability Officer at KFC (Yum! Brands)
Rebecca Self, former Chief Financial Officer of Sustainable Finance at HSBC Holdings plc
Following the fireside chat, attendees will join facilitated table discussions with speakers to explore how investors can better align engagement tactics with business realities to influence policy, disclosure, and performance.
Participants will leave with a stronger understanding of how to advance sustainability goals while strengthening investor–company relationships.
Please note: This side event is open to registered PRI in Person 2026 delegates only. Register your interest early, as space is limited to 50 attendees and investors will be prioritized. Attendance will be limited to one person per organization.
