About This Event
Join us for a nourishing gathering for the body, mind, and soul. With a glorious view of Black Mountain, we will immerse ourselves in a co-created field of joy as we share new and ancient pathways of wellbeing.
Longtime friends in creativity and consciousness, Lisa Lewis-Cogswell, MS, MA and Maja Apolonia Rode, PhD bring together decades of deep exploration to create a gentle and joyful space for individual and collective healing and renewal.
PART 1: Joy Is Your Nature
Introduction to Ren Xue with Lisa Lewis-Cogswell
Where are you being called to make your life better? Maybe you are feeling depleted and exhausted and would like more energy. Perhaps you are working on emotional healing. Maybe you have gone through a loss — a disconnection from friends, family, or a sense of purpose.
Everything in life can be a teacher. And when we find tools and pathways that make that learning and growth easier, it can change everything.
Ren Xue is a path to discover the wellbeing of your true nature. It draws on thousands of years of Chinese wisdom tradition and shapes it into a complete, practical system for modern life — one that works on the body, the Qi (life force energy) that runs through it, the heart, and the deeper patterns that shape how we live from the inside out.
After 35 years of spiritual exploration, Lisa has discovered that deep, inner joy and genuine wellbeing aren't things you have to go out and find — they are already inside of us. Most of us are just too depleted, and are running too many old survival patterns to feel them. There is a path to restoring our birthright of genuine wellbeing, boundless energy and joy — and it centers around the heart. Genuine inner joy produces lasting happiness and a relaxed body.
In this session, Lisa will be sharing from her own lived experience and exploration. Together we'll look at what it actually means to feel well from the inside out, what depletes the natural joy in us, and how to restore joy, which is essential in opening our heart naturally.
We will explore:
Qi (life force energy) — and why so many of us are running low
The five treasures of a genuinely good life
The nine-method practice system at the heart of Ren Xue
Why tending to the heart and our deep patterns changes everything.
We'll close with a Group Qi Healing — a relaxing and nourishing experience for your body, mind and soul.

PART 2: Cultivating Fields of Joy
Wisdom Weaving Circle with Maja Apolonia Rodé, PhD
Experience Maja’s innovative Wisdom Weaving process. In this simple yet powerful group experience we will:
Be gently guided into a collective flow state.
Create a unique Divine Dice oracle that speaks the language of our circle’s interconnected wisdom.
Receive a specific message from this oracle.
Bring the message to life with our living insights and perspectives.
Our process will be inspired by the invitations of today's gathering:
Let's cultivate the natural joy of being.
Let's be guided by the sense of aliveness.
Let's discover the new and ancient pathways of wellbeing.
Let's immerse ourselves in a healing field of pure life energy.
Let's explore the hidden landscape of our collective wisdom.
