About Event

Come experience UC Berkeley’s Master of Design (MDes) program in action!

WEDNESDAY 11/4: Observe the first semester course Design Frameworks on the history of design and technology. 3:30-7pm.

THURSDAY 11/5: Get a tour of our state-of-the-art Makerspace and MDes Studio from 1-2pm; attend an MDes Faculty Salon on design practice from 2-3 PM (snacks served!); then from 3-5pm sit in on one of the required MDes courses on Technology Design Foundations; and end the day with a social with current MDes students. Attend whichever part you can!

Directions:
All parts of the event will be at the Jacobs institute for Design Innovation at 2530 Ridge Rd, Berkeley, CA 94709. Enter at the West entrance of Jacobs across from Etcheverry Hall (not the entrance on Le Roy Ave). The tour will meet in the West lobby. If you arrive after 1:30pm, go to Jacobs 310 on the 3rd floor to join for the 2pm programming.
