Salon & Node Demo
Join us during Armory Art Week in NYC for a salon to celebrate the public launch of TRANSFER Data Trust and our growing decentralized conservation and care network.
Introducing a New Model of Data Stewardship.
TRANSFER Data Trust is a decentralized artist-owned archive and value exchange network. Our mission is to cooperatively maintain artworks in perpetuity, ensuring their preservation and access across generations. The data cooperative manages and grows the value of digital assets by leveraging smart contracts and decentralized storage. Backed by a network of specialists, this emergent care model offers a new approach to media art valuation, conservation and governance.
This vision starts–but doesn't end–with us. We've built a proof-of-concept for an open culture stack that can empower a radical shift in the data economy–and now we're inviting more collaborators into the experiment.
Salon Discussion
Starting at 12PM our artists, collaborators, collectors, and cultural institution partners will participate in a salon-style discussion. Attendees can learn how to participate in the next phase of the project. We welcome ideas for how you might leverage our patent pending conservation and care client to preserve your media and take back ownership of your data.
Continue the conversation over lunch from Market 57.
Node Demo
Curious what it takes to join the network? Stop by anytime during the 2 hour event hosted in the rooftop classrooms above Pier 57 for a hands-on look at the process of deploying a node.
