Introducing LAUNCH WKND — The next evolution of BUILD

Building the product was step one. Now let's make it a business.

At our last BUILD, something became clear while we were still in the room.

Building an app is one thing. Getting it commercial-ready and finding your first 20 customers is a completely different ball game.

Anton Osika, Co-Founder of Lovable, put it perfectly: "Help them go from products to running businesses."

So that's what we're doing.

LAUNCH WKND is a 6-hour working hackaton with two tracks.

Whether you're starting with an idea or already have a product, you'll leave further down the road than you came in.

Choose your track

BUILD: From idea to product
For anyone just getting started with Lovable who has an idea they want to get into the world.

  • Turn your idea into a working app, product, or tool you can show people

  • Get hands-on help from builders who've done it

  • Leave with something live, not just a concept

  • No technical background required

LAUNCH: From product to business
For people who've already built something and are ready to take it to market.

You've proven your domain expertise and you've built the app. Now it's time to get it ready to sell.

  • Get commercial-ready: tighten your offer, pricing, positioning and onboarding

  • Build your distribution plan, covering who your first 20 customers are and how you'll reach them

  • Ship your go-to-market assets, like a landing page, outreach, a launch post or a demo

  • Start outreach before you leave the room

How the day works

  • Kickoff: A short game plan, then you split into your track

  • Work sprints: Focused building with check-ins and help from the room

  • Peer feedback: Real reactions from people outside your bubble

  • Show and launch: Everyone shares what they shipped before the day ends

There are no lectures and there's no back row. Everyone works.

Who should come

  • Founders and solo builders, from idea stage to early product

  • Subject matter experts turning expertise into a product

  • Operators and SMB leaders building tools for their business

  • Lovable users at any level

  • Must be 18+

Admission is free

  • Space is limited, so register early

  • We ask that you make a donation to a local charity of your choice

  • Registration closes when spots fill

What to bring

  • Laptop and charger

  • BUILD: Your idea, and a Lovable account if you have one

  • LAUNCH: Your live product, plus access to wherever you'll launch it (logins, admin rights, your contact list)

What you leave with

On the BUILD track, you'll leave with a working app and a clear next step.

On the LAUNCH track, you'll leave with a commercial-ready product, a plan for landing for first customers.

About Lovable

Lovable is an AI-powered platform for building web apps by describing what you want in plain English. Rather than manually coding every feature, you can prompt it with an idea—such as “build a member directory with profiles, search, and paid access”—and it generates a working full-stack application that you can continue refining through chat.

Think of Lovable as “ChatGPT for creating web apps, products, and websites”—you explain the product you want, and it turns that description into a working application you can iterate on.

About the Hosts

Vernon T. Foster II is a 3x founder and 2x author with 15 years building communities, agencies, and media. He runs Growth Dinners, an invite-only IRL community for founders past $1M in revenue, and WebinarRev, a done-for-you service that runs end-to-end webinar programs to fill B2B pipeline.

He's also a Lovable Ambassador and City Lead for Richmond, with the express goal of making the first step more accessible for CEOs, founders, SMBs, and GTM professionals with ideas and deep expertise who don't come from technical backgrounds.

Vernon hosts the Rooms of Influence podcast and newsletter, where he documents how founders, builders, and B2B marketers create outsized influence. Featured in Entrepreneur, Built In, and The Good Men Project.

Ethan Halfhide is a post-exit founder and CEO of revstreem.ai which uses AI to run AEO and paid ads for brands scaling acquisition in AI search. He was previously CEO of AmbitiousLabs, the #1 Non-Code Accelerator, which taught 1,500+ students to build apps with AI — including alumni who raised millions on Shark Tank.

He's now building a holdco of niche directories and SaaS products on Lovable and publishes Rapid AI News, a weekly newsletter.
