Eastbourne People's Panel: community information session
The Eastbourne People’s Panel is being established to help answer an important question:
We have new funding to improve Eastbourne. What matters most when deciding how that funding is spent?
The session is an opportunity to learn how the People's Panel works, how participants will be selected by lottery, what happens during the sessions, and to ask any questions you may have.
Whether you're considering registering your interest or simply want to understand more about the process, we'd be delighted to welcome you.
How this session will be run
It will be led by representatives from New Citizen Project (the independent organisation responsible for delivering the Panel) and Richard Garland, Chair of the Eastbourne Neighbourhood Board, which is an independent, community-led body overseeing how this pot of up to £20 million of government funding is invested in the town over the next few years.
This session will be held on Zoom, an online video call platform. After you register, a link to join the meeting will be sent to your email. You should be able to join the meeting via your internet browser without downloading the Zoom app. If you have any problems you can email support@newcitizenproject.com
