LPL Financial Company Tour
Join the Muslim Tech Collaborative @ UCSD & SDSU for an inside look at LPL Financial, one of the largest independent broker-dealers in the country, right in the heart of San Diego's Executive Drive corridor. This tour is open to Muslim undergrads and young professionals who are curious about what a career in finance and fintech really looks like day to day, and who want to see the workspace where it all happens.
You'll have the opportunity to walk through the office, meet people who work there, and get a clearer picture of how a large financial company operates behind the scenes. It's a good chance to ask questions about the industry, the kinds of roles available, and how technology fits into modern financial services. Whether you're a computer science major, an economics student, or an early-career professional thinking about a pivot, you'll leave with a better sense of the paths open to you.
You'll also have the chance to get your resume looked at by people who work in the field, so bring a copy (printed or on your phone) and be ready for honest, practical feedback. Dress business casual, bring your questions, and plan to arrive a few minutes early so we can get checked in and start on time. We're glad to have you with us.
