About Event

We see the race. The deal. The result. The moment someone performs when it counts.

But performance is mostly built where nobody is watching: in the preparation, recovery, relationships, mistakes and small decisions that came before.

Join an intimate live conversation with Olympian Rose Harvey, entrepreneur and former Special Forces soldier Charlie Thuillier, hosted by Rebel Book Club co-founder Ben Keene.

Rose spent seven years in corporate law before pursuing running seriously. Four years later, she represented Team GB at the Olympics. Most recently, she helped Great Britain win European marathon team gold.

Charlie built Oppo Brothers ice cream. Then, after exit and with no prior military experience, he joined the Army, passed Special Forces Selection and served in the SAS(R).

Charlie is also Rose’s manager and husband.

Neither grew up in the world they ended up performing in. Both had to learn quickly, find 'who not how', and adapt to perform in their new environment.

Together, they will share how they prepared to pursue goals which initially felt improbable and what they learned along the way from experts.

One of the biggest lessons was around recovery.

Existing in a unique world of Team GB and elite military, they learned from human performance experts that the quality of your wake state is only ever as good as the quality of your sleep state - ultimately, how you wake shapes what's possible.

Everyone has something worth pursuing: a world first, a personal best, a legacy to build. We all have our own Olympics. Optimal sleep gives you more power to chase your dreams.

That insight led Charlie & Rose to build a team of engineers and sleep specialists to create Pursu, a new performance wearable designed to move beyond measuring sleep and begin actively supporting it.

At this event, Pursu will unveil the product publicly for the first time.

Who it’s for: Ambitious founders, investors, operators, athletes and anyone in pursuit of something that matters who wish to elevate their daily performance.

Expect honest stories & useful lessons.
