About Event

Apparently, I Live in Singapore Now 🇸🇬

I’ve been coming to Singapore for years—and living here for much of the past year.

And yet, I keep meeting people who say:

“Wait…you live here?”

So perhaps it’s time for a proper Singapore coming-out party.

I’m delighted to announce a new partnership with Tiny Mighty Studio at 406 Joo Chiat Place (The Yards), where I’ll be bringing more of my work—and a little more play—to Singapore.

Come celebrate with me.

This won't be an evening of sitting politely in chairs listening to someone talk.

Expect somatic experiences, connection, laughter, some slightly ridiculous games, and a chance to experience the kind of work I love bringing into the world.

There may even be a few surprises—a guest presenter, a book giveaway or two, and whatever else we decide would make the evening memorable.

Mostly, this is about gathering good humans together.

If we already know each other, I’d love to see you.

If we've been meaning to meet, this is the perfect excuse.

And if you're simply curious about what I'm doing in Singapore, come find out.

Let's play.

About Me

Chris Balsley holds a Master’s in Transpersonal Psychology and is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), as well as an executive coach and organizational change agent. He has deep expertise in the trauma field, Gestalt coaching, and bridging Eastern and Western philosophies and methodologies.

Chris has coached leaders across all organizational levels, from C-suite executives to mid-level managers in multinational corporations and Fortune 100 companies (e.g., McKinsey & Co., Bayer, Medtronic, Collins Aerospace, and others). As a veteran of the armed forces and a trainer to active-duty combat soldiers, Chris has a special affinity for working with the men and women who serve.

He holds that accountability, cost-based analysis, and driving business outcomes are equally as important as mindfulness, personal health, and finding deep meaning at work.

Chris has spent more than 35 years doing work he genuinely loves—helping people grow, heal, lead, and become their authentic and true selves. Originally from Colorado, USA, Chris has found another place he loves calling home here in Singapore. He feels genuinely fortunate to be building a life and community here, and hopes one day soon to bring his family here as well.

And when he’s not working, you might find him practicing Shaolin kung fu or yoga, trampoline wall-running, or playing Afro-Cuban music—a passion he has shared with the same band for more than 25 years.
