This November, we’re doing something a little different for our monthly YGL London gathering.
We’re celebrating Diwali — the Festival of Lights — and we’d love you to celebrate it with us.
And for this special evening, spouses and life partners are warmly invited too. We hope you'll bring the person you share your life with and make them part of our YGL London celebration.
For one evening, we’re gathering around the table at Chokhi Dhani, a beautiful Rajasthani Indian restaurant, for a night of colour, candlelight, wonderful Indian food, conversation and, most importantly, good company.
At its heart, Diwali is a celebration of light, hope, renewal and community — of looking forward with optimism and wishing peace, happiness and prosperity not only for ourselves, but for those around us and for the wider world.
It feels particularly fitting for our community: people from different countries and different walks of life coming together, sharing a table and celebrating friendship, possibility and positive change.
And, of course, eating far too much Indian food along the way.
Please dress for it! Traditional Indian or Indian-inspired festive dress is very warmly encouraged. Sarees, kurtas, bandhgalas, lehengas, colour, sparkle — have some fun with it. No expertise in Indian clothing required; just bring your festive spirit.
