Climate Solvers is a solution-focused photographic exhibition that brings to life the people, places and technologies driving tangible climate outcomes across Australia. Through compelling visual narratives, the project invites audiences to explore how innovation, community leadership and systemic change are shaping resilient, equitable and low-emission futures.
The exhibition aligns with Climate Action Week Sydney’s 2026 themes by highlighting work in areas such as Fuels & Energy, Nature & Biodiversity, Food & Agriculture, Health & Wellbeing, and Oceans & Water through imagery and stories that bridge climate science, community practice and enterprise. It also incorporates cross-cutting principles such as First Nations leadership, youth participation, and showcasing action at scale, featuring people and projects that reflect diverse approaches to climate challenges.
Climate Solvers supports the Five Pillars of Climate Action:
Educate: offer accessible visual learning on climate initiatives and outcomes.
Inspire Change: spark curiosity and commitment through human stories of innovation.
Reduce & Remove Emissions: spotlight projects actively cutting or capturing emissions.
Adapt & Build Resilience: surface work enhancing community and ecosystem resilience.
Held at University of Technology Sydney (UTS) for the full week of Climate Action Week Sydney, the exhibition is designed for continuous public engagement, enabling students, researchers, practitioners and the broader community to experience climate solutions on their own terms. Complementary elements may include artist talks, panel conversations and guided tours during the Week to deepen insight and foster dialogue.
