Join us for three experiential trainings designed to help clinicians deepen their child-centered play therapy skills, strengthen parent engagement, and confidently integrate caregivers into the therapeutic process. Each training is a stand-alone and works well as one flowing into the next for a clinicians first deepening into the model, then learning how to engage parents around the model, and only then learn how to train parents in it.

1- Entering a Child’s Work through Child Centered Play Therapy

2- Overcoming Resistance = How do I engage the parent and invite them into the process?

3- Filial Training = How do I teach the parent what to do once they have agreed?

1. Deepening CCPT (4 weeks) (Required: at least one child you can work with)
Participants strengthen the actual child-centered skills and clinical stance.

2. Overcoming Resistance: Engaging Parents in Play Therapy (3 weeks) (Required: any basic CCPT training and at least one child centered play therapy client weekly)
Participants learn how to explain play therapy, respond to skepticism, reduce defensiveness, and prepare parents for deeper involvement.

3. Filial Training (3 weeks) (Required: any basic CCPT training and at least one child centered play therapy client weekly)
Participants learn how to actually teach parents the CCPT skills, structure special play time, observe parent-child play sessions, and give feedback.

All trainings are Tuesdays 11am-12:30pm per week and will be recorded in case you miss a class.
A certificate of completion will be provided at the end of each training.
