Join The Fairway Social Club for a 9-hole scramble at Mariner’s Point Golf Course, followed by a full lunch spread and plenty of time to hang out after the round.
We’ll have 28 women playing in a relaxed scramble format. Come for the golf, stay for lunch, new friends, and hopefully a few new names to add to your golf group chat.

This is a social golf event, not a serious tournament. You do not need to be an amazing golfer or have played on a course before. If this is your first time taking your game onto the course, you’re welcome. The scramble format keeps things relaxed, team-based, and beginner-friendly.
Come solo or bring a friend. We’ll organize the groups so everyone knows where to go and who they’re playing with.

What is a scramble?
Everyone in your group hits a shot. The group chooses the best one, and everyone plays their next shot from that spot. You repeat this until the ball is holed. It keeps things moving and makes the round more relaxed and social.
Do I need to be an experienced golfer?
Not at all. Beginners are welcome, including women who have never played on a golf course before. This is a relaxed, social scramble designed to make getting out on the course feel approachable.
Is this okay if it’s my first time playing on a course?
Yes! This can absolutely be your first time. You’ll be playing as part of a group in a scramble format, so you won’t be navigating the round alone.
Can I come alone?
Absolutely. A lot of Fairway Social guests come solo. We’ll organize the groups in advance so you’ll know who you’re playing with.
Can I request to play with a friend?
Yes. After registering, send us your friend’s name and we’ll do our best to place you together.
What is included?
Your event experience includes the organized 9-hole scramble, group coordination, and a full lunch spread after the round.
Are golf clubs provided?
Please plan to bring your own clubs. If rental clubs are available through the course, we’ll share those details with registered guests before the event.
What should I wear?
Golf attire or comfortable athletic clothing that allows you to move freely. Layers are always a good idea for a Bay Area golf day.
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive promptly at 10:15 AM for check-in and group assignments before heading out to play.
What happens if I join the waitlist?
If you join the waitlist, you may see a temporary authorization hold on your card. You will not actually be charged unless a spot opens up and you are moved off the waitlist into the event.
What happens if the weather is bad?
We’ll communicate any weather-related changes directly to registered attendees.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations must be made at least 7 days before the event to be eligible for a refund. Cancellations made within 7 days of the event are non-refundable.
Do I need to be a Fairway Social member?
No. There are no membership fees and no previous Fairway Social events required. Just sign up and show up.
