APC Japanese Community Gathering

​Join us for a gathering of the Japanese community within the Asian Psychedelic Collective. This zoom event aims to hold space for those with Japanese ancestry to provide a safe space to share experiences and cultivate the conversation of community within psychedelics. The gathering will be facilitated by Ayako Monsell and Noriko Brubeck.

​Ayako Monsell (she/they) is a Buddhist, biracial, nonbinary, and queer Japanese American who is AuDHD and living in the occupied lands of the Nuwuvi also known as Las Vegas, NV. Ayako is a cannabis and psychedelics educator, data scientist, writer, design, and technical expert who is also an active volunteer in the Shin Buddhist & local Japanese community.

Noriko Brubeck (she/her) is a mother, RN, cancer survivor, mixed race yonsei Japanese American. She is in the current cohort of the UC Berkeley Center for the Science of Psychedelics facilitator certification program. Noriko is on a lifelong journey to better understand expanded, ordinary and nonordinary states, and to provide nonjudgmental care for those who are healing and growing.

​This is an opportunity for the Japanese community to come together in solidarity as we navigate and make sense of consciousness-shifting experiences in a shared space of community and support.

​We will share our journeys and inspire each other. We are connecting hearts and minds from the comfort of our own homes via Zoom.
