Japan's Hidden Coastal Treasures: Travel Through the Eyes of a Naturalist

​Japan is a land of extraordinary natural beauty, rich traditions, and countless hidden treasures. Beyond the familiar destinations of Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka lies another side of Japan, one best discovered by sea.

​Join the Japan Society of Northern California and Hankyu Travel International for a special travel event featuring Ryo Ijichi, an experienced naturalist and Expedition Leader with PONANT, who will introduce us to some of Japan’s most fascinating yet lesser-known coastal towns.

​Drawing on his extensive experience exploring remote regions around the world, Ryo, from naturalist point of view, will take us on a journey to secluded islands, historic fishing villages, and beautiful coastal communities rarely visited by international travelers.

​Whether you are a seasoned traveler, a cruise enthusiast, or simply looking for a new way to experience Japan, this event will inspire you to discover a side of the country you may never have imagined!
