Kristina Wickersham is an Industry Readiness Lead for the FedNow® Service, the Federal Reserve’s near real-time payment and settlement rail supporting instant payments across the United States. She leads adoption efforts across a wide range of financial institutions while advancing innovation through partnerships, emerging use cases, and ecosystem collaboration.
Kristina brings 20 years of banking and financial services experience, spanning retail banking, business banking, lending, treasury management, and fintech innovation. Before joining the Federal Reserve, she spent several years designing and implementing bill-pay and faster-payments solutions, with a strong focus on customer experience, operational efficiency, and accelerated payment adoption.
Her expertise bridges both traditional banking and next-generation payments infrastructure, making her a critical voice in helping credit unions modernize safely and strategically.
