East York Trivia Mondays
Join us for laughs, questions, and prizes! Help us raise funds and awareness for Family Shed - Veterans Leading Resilience.
1240 Woodbine Ave
(Legion Branch 22 at Woodbine & Mortimer)
Doors open at 6:30pm. Bring your friends or join a team on the spot. All ages are welcome. Pay what you think it's worth.
Why Register?
Registering saves your seat. Do you absolutely, definitely have to register? No. And you might get a seat without registering. It does, however, let us know how many people to expect. That means we have an idea how much food to prepare for dinners, and gives us an opportunity to prepare volunteers for the coming waves of participants.
So, yes, please register.
How It Works
Our Toronto Trivia host asks the questions. You answer them. You get points and you win stuff.
There is a grand prize and several prizes to give away throughout the night.
There are 3 rounds X 10 questions each + some bonus material. At the end of the 3 rounds you add up your points and you have a chance to bet on one last question.
After the Final Question we do some math and the grand prize winner is whoever has the most points.
Does It Cost Money?
No. Admission is free. Which also means it's wise to reserve seats for you and your team. Seating is limited.
How Do You Raise Funds When It's Free? We'll tell you about Family Shed between rounds. If you think it's a cause worth supporting, drop some money in a jar or send it to [email protected]
You can also support Family Shed monthly:

Family Shed is a place for veterans and the community to tackle projects that give us a chance to talk while working shoulder to shoulder. It’s a place to connect with each other, learn new skills, and share what we know.
We need a really large surrogate family for those veterans who need extra help. Come be a friend to someone who needs you more than they think.
Do I need a reservation?
Walks-ins are accepted if there is room, but there is limited seating.
We highly recommend making a reso for your team so you aren't turned away. That would be sad and we don't want that for you.
Do you write all the questions?
The guy who almost got on Jeopardy writes the questions. It's all original material, baby. (Actually, it's now a team of 6 writers.)
These are local, organic, artisanal questions made in small batches. You can taste the love. It's baked right in.
