Future Council – Community Film Screening at UNSW
As part of Climate Action Week Sydney, UNSW invites you to a special community screening of Future Council – a hopeful and thought‑provoking film from award‑winning filmmaker Damon Gameau (2040, That Sugar Film).
Future Council follows eight young people on an inspiring journey across as they investigate the climate crisis and search for real‑world solutions. Along the way, they meet scientists, activists, and business leaders, and ultimately bring their findings into the boardrooms of major corporations. Together, they challenge decision‑makers to rethink what’s possible.
This uplifting film highlights the power of youth leadership, community action, and imagination in shaping a more sustainable world. It reminds us that change doesn’t only come from global institutions – it starts in neighbourhoods, cities and universities.
