Energy Demand Outlook: Dynamics, Risks, and Investment Opportunities
Navigate today’s power demand and invest in tomorrow
The energy landscape is shifting fast. Demand is surging, grids are stressed, and capital is chasing durable returns. Join us for a pragmatic briefing on the current state of the U.S. power system, where the biggest bottlenecks are emerging, and where opportunity is taking shape across the energy value chain - and a clear path to get involved.
About:
Our featured speaker, Vladimir Abdelnour, is a PhD researcher in smart energy systems at Arizona State University and an energy entrepreneur working at the intersection of grid infrastructure, electrification, and AI-enabled decision tools. His work spans EV load-growth modeling, microgrid design automation, utility-facing planning, and practical energy technology deployment, all centered on one core question: how to make the electric grid faster to understand, easier to upgrade, and more resilient under rising demand.
In his talk, Vladimir will offer a big-picture view of how the U.S. grid evolved, where its main bottlenecks are today, and why those constraints matter now more than ever. He’ll explore the demand drivers reshaping the system, including electric vehicles, data centers, and onshoring of manufacturing, and what they mean for the grid in the short to medium term.
We’ll then outline our fund’s thesis and highlight select startups under evaluation, including how qualified investors can participate.
