SDFCG January Garden Workday

​Gardeners are encouraged to complete their required 2 hours of service by attending monthly work days. Feel free to invite friends or neighbors. Volunteers are welcome!

Workdays are generally held the first Sat of the month but there will be adjustments based on other events and holidays. Check the Garden Calendar for updates. 

We'll discuss projects that we are completing at the prior Gardener's meeting and post notes on Discord and in Gardener Meetings. If no other projects are specified, tasks that are always good to complete include:

• ​Weeding the common areas and walkways

• ​Picking up and removing trash

• ​Laying down fresh cardboard and mulch on the walkways

• ​Organizing the shed 

• ​Checking on the hoses and faucets to ensure there are no leaks (alert the Maintenance Workgroup immediately if you see any) 

• ​Turning the compost piles 

• ​Checking on tools and performing any maintenance to ensure they work properly
