Women are still vastly underrepresented in STEM, tech, and entrepreneurship. Globally, women make up only around 28% of the tech workforce; in Germany, just about 21% of startup founders are women. This isn’t merely a diversity problem – it’s an innovation gap. When women are missing, innovation is incomplete. AI systems amplify bias instead of challenging it, products overlook real-world needs (the Gender Health Gap is just one striking example), and entire ecosystems lose out on talent, leadership, and bold ideas.
