The pub, the park, the office, the market, the mosque. The places where people once bumped into each other and slowly became a community are disappearing. As more of our lives become digital and individual, how might AI help people rediscover the places, relationships, and shared experiences that create a sense of belonging?
What role, if any, should AI play in making communities feel more connected—without replacing the serendipity and humanity that make them meaningful?
